Job Summary
Large manufacturing company is looking for a Finance Analyst / Accountant for one of their facilities in central NE.
***Candidates must have strong experience in finance reporting in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar environment.
This is an on-site position - there is no hybrid or remote option.

Purpose
As a member of the corporate controllership team, the Financial Analyst will support key centralized corporate accounting functions and compliance activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for corporate ledgers utilizing our ERP system.
- Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
- Develop timely and insightful financial reporting and analysis for multiple plants
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans for the business.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and work with external auditors as needed.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (in accounting or related field)
- 3+ years of experience in accounting field.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or similar industry
- Experience in a large accounting firm preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems a must - experience with Plex is preferred.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities
